vrcave Company ProfilevrCAVE was founded in Edmonton, AB in 2016 with our first release, Hospital of Horror. In 2024, we now license our collection of 10 social VR experiences to more than 200 business across 29 countries. We design VR games for business owners in the location-based entertainment industry (escape rooms, family entertainment centers, etc.) and help them get set up fast with world-class immersive VR.
We started with backpack PCs powering the headsets, but the advent of standalone hardware like the Meta Quest and VIVE Focus 3 vastly simplifies the setup required. We specialize in developing games that engage all ages, that are easy and intuitive to pick up, that remove the risk of VR sickness, and that take players to incredible new worlds. Currently, the vrCAVE library has 8 escape room style games set in space, under the ocean, in a medieval town beset by a dragon, through time, a creepy mansion, with pirates, the old west, and a ninja temple. vrCAVE was founded by brothers Alex Rossol and Nathaniel Rossol. Alex today serves as CEO, leading the business, and Nathaniel as CTO, heading up the development side. We employ a full-time staff of 11, all based in Edmonton. |
